Five Quotes for Writers Who are Struggling to Write

I’m there. You’re there. It sucks. We should probably write something.

We should all be writing.

I’ve been out of the hospital for the better part of the week now. And, while I’ve been surprised at how easy it’s been to start my normal routines back up. (Seriously, sometimes I act like I’m mining coal or something. I’m sitting on my ass at a computer table.)

Since I’ve been home, I’ve added a few thousand words to my novel — even crossed 30k while writing a scene that made me cry like a god-damn baby.

I’ve got the Ninja Writers email back down to inbox zero, something that I was actively scared of. I’m on top of my Ninja Writers stuff.

But I’m having trouble with the Medium stuff. It’s the last ball that I’m trying to work back into my juggling routine. Daily post. Daily sonnet. Shouldn’t be that hard.

But it’s eluding me. And it’s so easy to skip. And that shit won’t fly, considering how big a part of my monthly income writing on Medium is.

So, sometimes, you’ve just got to say what the fuck and push out a post, even if it doesn’t feel all that great, or it seems like you’re spinning nonsense out of your ass.
