I don’t keep a notebook — and working with Shaunta, who’s the queen and guru of notebooks, I always feel like a bit of a fool. They really do work wonders for her. And I wonder if it would make me more organized, a better person, a more successful person in general. Maybe it would.
But they just . . . aren’t for me. I don’t like carrying a lot of stuff everywhere. Having my pockets weighed down with stuff, more than the wallet/phone/pen, etc. Adding a whole melange of notebooks to that seems like a lot.
I wish my brain worked that way, but it doesn’t. But I’ve got a good mind for good ideas, and I value the ones that stick. I’ve got digital tools where I need them.
And, honestly, most of my journaling is Medium posts!
