I have so much trouble with this. This is the thing that I never do. Honestly, I can’t quite get over the idea that my friendship, that whatever I have to offer, is meaningless.

Other people have so many friends! Most of them already have their own community and their own circle that they belong to. And if they need me in their life, if they want to make room for me, they will. It’s much more polite than just…barging in on their time, you know?

I assume I’m unwanted. And, most of the time, it’s the truth. But it does make for a lonely life. Maybe that’s just my lot.
