I think about fairness a lot. Mostly because I’m on the same side as you here — the hustler, the one who must put up with it and bear it.

And honestly — and maybe it’s just me —there’s a part of me that wants to be the asshole, just once, just in one aspect of my life. Let me be the petty one; let me be the smaller person.

Then the empathy kicks in. Damn. But yeah.
