Keeping your house nice, neat, and reasonably fit to live in is a good thing, but stuff like this Marie Kondo nonsense is a vain human attempt to defy the second law of thermodynamics.
You can spend your whole life trying to make everything perfectly neat; but you are 100% correct in saying that the second you actually start using it, you actually start living in it, it ceases to be like that.
You can’t outrun entropy. And it’s a waste of time to try.
