As for your situation, all I can say is that the end of the day, you have to take care of yourself. I think if they’re at a place where they’re dangerous to themselves, you can call the police and try to get them help that way — but there’s a chance that they might not forgive you; that it might be the end of your friendship. And, if it gets to the point where their state of mind is dangerous for you, you might have to walk away. I don’t blame B. for that. She had to do that.
