The Truth, in truth’s a crystal bell,
perhaps it’s best to ring and tell
your story straight, in honest lines,
divulge your heart’s untrampled mines —
the truth is meant to set you free
or so the saying’s supposed to be.
But it’s a lie: the truth’s a knife
by which you make or end your life,
best hidden up a secret sleeve.
Let losers, confident, believe
that you’re a victim, meek, unarmed,
leave them laughing: smug, unharmed.
Yes, wear that face until you need
to make some motherfucker bleed.
