Going through my email this morning, I made a startling discovery: it’s been almost a year since I started querying my novel.

No. I had to do a double-take; I couldn’t believe it. There’s no way in hell that it’s already been a full year, is there?

Well, as far as I know, Gmail doesn’t lie.

I instantly felt disappointed.
