Writer’s Log #2

For the morbidly curious and the mildly bored.

I woke up so tired this morning that I was ready to go back to bed. Do not get up, do not pass go, do not collected $200. I was ready to sink right back into my chair and doze until I didn’t feel tired anymore.

This is not an unusual occurrence, but still. And I always get up eventually. Even if there’s a tiny part of me still craving sleep that regrets it.

While eating breakfast, I read a Medium interview with Shannon and Shaunta, which was really cool! I had forgotten that was happening.

That’s also the point where I started writing this log, which will sit in my drafts all day. It still feels kind of weird to narrate this stuff. I’m about as interesting as a bowl of porridge — and not fancy, hipster Gordon Ramsey porridge. The Oliver Twist — “please, sir, I want some moah” stuff.
