Writer’s Log #3

I woke up, and immediately felt like rolling over and going back to sleep. It must be a day that ends in -y. I’ve got a pile of financial debt but, let me tell you, it’s the decade of sleep debt that’s going to be the death of me.

But I got up. Because, what do we tell the God of Death? Sean Bean isn’t here.

I ate breakfast, checked my email, Medium notifications, Twitter, &c.

My first actual bit of productivity for the day was sitting down to bang out my Medium post about my Inner Editor:

Then I spent some time reading and clapping for Medium posts — favorites that I follow, and some interesting-looking ones from the Facebook group.

I’ll be honest: today was a pretty slow day. I let people into Ninja Writers, I read some more Media posts, and scrolled through social media. But, mostly, I minded senior citizens today — reminding them that the family would be home later tonight, ordering dinner (and making sure it was up to snuff for fussy eaters)…
