Writer’s Log #7

For the morbidly curious and the mildly bored.

I woke up late today. Like, stupidly late.

The funny thing is, I actually went to bed early last night. Well, I had trouble falling asleep for a few hours, but I physically put myself in bed, and hoped for my body to fall asleep earlier than usual.

My body, asshole that it is, declined.

Went downstairs, and did the usual morning routine of checking social media, Medium notifications, and all that good stuff, while eating lunch.

I then made the mistake of remembering that it was Friday, and that there would be the new episode of Grey’s Anatomy on Hulu. So I sat down, dear friend, and I spent the hour doing nothing but watching my favorite doctors.

During and after that, I did some Ninja Writers work: answering emails, sending out messages, letting people into the Facebook group, and stuff like that.

We’re planning our summer courses and coming up with ideas, and it’s all a bit hectic and fun. So we spent some time talking about…
